Traditional opening ceremony ritual. After the Olympic flag has been raised, a competitor of the host country mounts the rostrum. Holding a corner of the Olympic flag in his/her left hand, and raising the right hand, the athlete recites the following solemn oath: “In the name of all the competitors I promise that we shall take part in these Olympic Games, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern them, committing ourselves to a sport without doping and without drugs, in the true spirit of sportsmanship, for the glory of sport and the honor of our teams.”

The venue medical team will assist with necessary arrangements for such referrals including transport and transfer of appropriate clinical history.

Поликлиника Олимпийской/Паралимпийской деревни должна оказывать специализированные медицинские услуги, в том числе услуги ортопедические, радиологические, экстренные офтальмологические и стоматологические. Руководители медицинской службы объекта ОКОИ должны быть осведомлены о спектре оказываемых поликлиникой услуг и должны знать, в каких случаях должно выдаваться направление в поликлинику. Поликлиника предназначена для оказания помощи спортсменам, ввиду чего приоритет будет отдаваться спортсменам, а не членам Олимпийской/Паралимпийской Семьи. В случае тяжелых заболеваний, представители Олимпийской/Паралимпийской Семьи должны быть направлены в Олимпийскую больницу.

polyclinic services for Olympic/Paralympic Family members
Olympic/Paralympic Village polyclinic will have specialty medical services including medicine, orthopedics, radiology, emergency ophthalmology, and dental care services. The OCOG's venue medical officers must be well aware of the scope of services available at the polyclinic and of when referral to the polyclinic is appropriate. The polyclinic is provided for the care of athletes, so resources will be prioritized for the athletes over Olympic/Paralympic Family members. Acutely ill OF members should always be referred to the Olympic Hospital.
